Making A Statement

Gloucestershire

Made In The UK - Unfortunately it very rarely is these day
and we will probably even end up outsourcing parliament to India or China :)

I am going to Start a campaign to bring back British Industry
( Unfortunately is was me, and other like minded individuals at the time
whom outsourced manufacturing, overseas in the first place )

So for all of that I profusely apologise :(

I thought the British Parliament had been outsourced to Scotland...
Great shot...very strong composition.

So the truth is out, it was you. Naughty. ;o) Great image though -- the chain looks really clean!

Tis a conundrum. And a hard trend to reverse. It is a major issue with folks here in the US.
Your comment about outsourcing the Parliament has me in stitches. I would be happy to make our US Congress go first.

I'd better add "buy British" to my "ban plastic bags" efforts then...!!

I've just been reading about the Morris Marina...

It's a sign of the times, but with the recent issues surrounding products coming from China, I'm making a better effort at buying locally made merchandise. Easier said than done I'm afraid.

The same is happening here in the US...more's the pity. This is definitely a statement image. Love the comp and color.

LOL@Gail - but she has a point :-) Great comp. and colours in the bit of bike, or whatever it is :)

I'm all for stimulating one's local economy. Global trade is good, but it can go to extremes.
Nice statement, and a really good comp.

I don't think you can take the blame. You just carried through the inevitable. But like you I'm thinking more carefully about where the things I buy are made. Though as someone recently pointed out to me - I turn a blind eye when it comes to Apple products!

Great composition, and an interesting socio-economic comment.
