Wixx’s old stamping ground

For the "Looking up / Looking Down" Totally Informal Transglobal Challenge
more entries can be seen in the forum here

::Part of my Thursday Challenge Collection::

The fire escape at a conference facility in Pease Pottage, West Sussex
which I am reliably informed is the old stamping ground of djwixx
(Pease Pottage, not the fire escape)

I was lying on my back to shoot this structure when a woman, whom I vaguely know,
wearing a short skirt came out the door, and walked down the stairs.

You can imagine her reaction when she saw me pointing my camera up at her …..

(However I think it was pointing out that she wasn’t a natural blonde that really did it for me )

On a serious note, I like this image as it instantly draws the eye to look up.
I did play around with including a subject on the top balcony,
but I much prefer this simpler composition,
and I feel it leaves us asking more questions about the image.

I had a hoot shotting this at the weekened

1/20s @ f11, ISO 1000 full exif

The alternative shot could have been amusing, although I suspect you would have been arrested!!! Pease Pottage was where me and Melissa actually 'got together', well over a decade ago now! Thanks for the thought and some fond memories!

Wonderful composition and tone,Ian.Perhaps the young lady should have been left included the image but maybe camera shake would have spoilt the image!! :o)
