Bowser

Gloucestershire

I returned home late last night – to find our new water supply:
... a Blue Plastic Bowser, strategically positioned 30 seconds from the house ….

I’m so glad we are flying out of Heathrow this afternoon.

See you all in a fortnight – ish…. with pics of Morocco
and hopefully with fresh clean running water from the taps…

In the meantime I hope Sharon Rogers
water is restored pretty soon.

I am 100 feet above sea level, and she is higher up than me,
so we would never have guessed that flooding would affect us in this way..

100 feet I here someone saying, that is not high.
However if you think about it, nearly every town in the country is either at the coast or is built on a river,
you then realise that most people live pretty low down.
I read somewhere that 70% of the population live below 100 feet above sea level.

The odd thing is we are in Severn Trent region, yet the Bowser says Bristol Water,
(is this co-operation, or a hostile takeover)?

1/200s @ f3.2, ISO 100 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday - I look forward to seeing your pics when you get back. And hope you come back to something more resembling normality !

I think I'd accept the contents even if the bowser read 'Peckham Spring' >)

Have a great time in Morocco - forget about your troubles!

One of our blue bowsers was being filled by a tanker from Bornemouth Water. I did thank them for it!!!
