My first commission. This was for some friends of friends who were going to a ball
they wanted a number of family portraits.

I wanted to learn more about shooting people and managing the lighting etc.
Now having processed some of the shots, I certainly know what not to do ;)

My promised payment was a bottle of Brut,
which initially got me thinking of Kevin Keegan, Henry Cooper, and “splash it all over”
So I was far happier when a large bottle of Champers appeared…
