This little lochan just off the A835 north Ullapool road at the gateway to the Inverpolly reserve is like a magnet. True the water surface is often choppy and broken, but if you should get there at first light before the sunrise instigates chaos theory with it's minor atmospheric disturbances, then a near perfect reflection of the Inverpolly mountains, including the pointy volcanic peak of Stac Pollaidh, become mirrored in it's surface.
NEW!! Photographic Holidays at TRANSIENT LIGHT.
