It was hardly the sunrise we envisaged nor if I am honest the one that was hoped for but I have to admit I am pleased with this moody blue version of the sunrise that refused to happen at the end of Loch Maree just before a minor blizzard struck and the fresh water beach got pounded with waves of ever increasing magnitude, the delicate birch brush nicely marooned in the unusually high water.
