Bad A Ghaill Sun Dial

Loch Bad A Ghaill, Inverpolly, Scotland

I suppose this could be construed as rather a busy scene for such a gentle serene landscape but I wanted to show the seasonal influence of the scattered birch leaves and the furrowed red sand does juxtapose nicely with the cool ethereal misty mountain backdrop. The ripples in the sand reinforce the sun dial pointer formed by the wooden stump.
