Summit Beinn A'an

Beinn Aan, Dukes Pass, Aberfoyle, Scotland.

This little mountain and it barely justifies this term based on size, is actually quite an arduous trek. It affords quite wonderful views out of all proportion to its size and on this occasion I was treated to some remarkably moody skies and eventually a blip of sunlight hit the summit cairn. The result for a short while was a magical combination of warm colours and steely blue backdrop.
