Ardvreck Castle, Assynt, Scotland.

I have a bit of a passion for derelict castles and Ardvreck castle is one that appeals not just because it has fallen into decay but because it has such a magnificent open setting. I shot this with a bit of back and side lighting which has provided both contrast and depth helping the castle and island plinth to stand out against the background hills.
