Corona

Blackburn Cathedral, Lancashire

"Above the altar is suspended the corona.
This is a design in steel, weighing about four tons,
which represents both a 'Crown of Glory' and a 'Crown of Thorns'.
It is a memorial to Canon John Sinker, the first Provost of the Cathedral."

(The small red lights -- which are never extinguished... --
represent drops of Christ's blood.)
