It may not have started snowing here (yet...) -- but it has gone bitterly windy.
So the wood-burning stove in the main room is lit... -- just in case!

So... this is neither two holly leaves, nor an apple (unless you want it to be...)
-- just one of the millions of ever-changing patterns made by the flames
as I played around trying to capture a picture of 'warmth'....

(And, okay, I admit it, I rotated it ninety degrees.
But, apart from that, no post-processing at all!)
