Taken from Chiselbury Iron Age hillfort.

I went out for an evening's walk (after several 'rain stopped play' moments, from lunchtime onwards...), and took my camera with me:
mainly to play around with the circular polarizing filter that's been sitting unloved in my photographic-bits-and-pieces drawer for over a year....
Found myself climbing the steep chalk path (which was a bit mushy!) up through Fovant Badges; and then walking the full circumference of the fort.

It was a good evening for varied skies:
although all the clouds started to disappear just as the sun hit the horizon!
Such is life!
