All in love forlorn
5 March 2013 (518)

Charlecote Park, Warwickshire view map

I was walking round in just a T-shirt and top:
my fleece removed, and tied around my waist.
I think the sheep envied me: as they were tussling
for shade under the few available trees and woodpiles.
It'll be a while before their fleeces are removed!

Beautifully done!

I think I saw that tree in the Lord of the Rings movie. When he finishes looking around he's going to pull up his roots and go for a walk. To get away from those pesky sheep.

Good to have some spring weather today!

That's a fine, stout tree to shelter under. A misty, moody scene - love it. V

This herd were fortunate to find shade in the absence of a hedge. That stout tree clearly helped. And yes... by Jove, I'd heed Mairéad's advice.

Don't cast that clout too far - more cold weather on its way although it's great to see these signs of spring.

A little more shade would be welcome. Good group shot and a bit of mist for added atmospherics! V

Wonderful series of images from your pleasant walk in the sunshine.

Very nice view, I do love parkland like this, with trees, sheep and the estate.

Mind me Jacobs! Interesting scene of many parts, with the sheepies, the dead tree and the old house
