Is it because it is white?

Upper Tysoe, Warwickshire view map

One of our many, many house sparrows
raiding the feeders (which were refilled yesterday).

So far, today, we've had dozens of sparrows, dunnocks and blackbirds;
my first ever blackcap; lots of chaffinches and goldfinches;
a wren, a thrush, some robins... -- but no partridge...
(probably because we don't have a pear tree).

I see the birds in your garden are well cared for and I am sure they appreciate all that food in the snowy cold, particularly. You've had some great birds visiting lately!! VV
