60km southwest of Hanoi, this pagoda is famous for picturesque settings, both the waterway to it (Yến river) and the pagoda itself. The landscape is comparable to Guilin in China. The annual pilgrimage season (Lễ Hội Chùa Huong) is in March and April, when there is a traffic jam on Yến river.
