A car pulled up.
Mail lady stepped out. She carried a box. Special delivery!
She rang the doorbell. My human was in the yard. He didn’t hear.
The mail lady rang again. I barked. My human looked up. Just in time,
the mail lady was already going back to her car with the box.
She handed the box to my human. He brought it into the house. “It’s from your partners in Güsterland”, he said.
I sniffed it, and again. Something inside that box smelled really, I mean REALLY good!!
My human went back outside. He left the box on the table. I pushed it and it fell to the floor.
I tried to open it. Oh boy, that smell! But it was sealed very tight. I couldn’t open it.
“What are you doing?” asked my human when he came back in, “okay, we’ll open it together”.
So we did. And then I saw what I already smelled. Oh boy…
