Just got back from my long weekend on Vlieland island.
Oh boy, it was great!
We had good weather so we could make long beach hikes. So much to sniff on a beach,
unspeakable things wash up, some of them alive!
But my favorite thing is to give the birds a good scare.
I want you to look real close at this action shot.
I`m on a pier here, I`m coming in from the left side.
Two big gulls are making their escape,
you can see them flying against the white of the breaker.
A third bird dares me. He just sits there on the tip of the pier.
I charge. Almost had him for lunch. But he got away in the final second...
