Fairbanks

Fairbanks, Alaska

A building of character: the old US Post Office and Court House on Cushman Street,
with cast aluminum doors and bald eagle transom grills; marble steps, floor tiles
and wall panels; brass borders and bronze postal boxes.
The Alaska Public Lands Information Center (entrance under the red hood)
now occupies the basement, providing information year-round on
state and federal lands and parks in Alaska.

can u feel this atmosphere? I do can. I used to live in the troms fylke in norway for a year and can easily read these bleak colors of the north. all`s grey, all`s unreal. closer to the universe as som people in karelia say. it`s like first love this feeeling of the north. it`s lika a drug addiction. doom and gloom!!!
