Joop's Dog Log - Friday Jan 02

Snow! Finally.
It started yesterday afternoon and we had some more last night.
It makes our park look real pretty.

Nannish One wants to elect me president. NOT!
Better dogs than me have tried out for office,
didn`t Big Arnold just barely defeat a dog after a recount.., or was that Little George?
But I could be a Running Mate!
Hey I can run like the wind and my human can help me find the right ideas in my head.
All we need is a good candidate to run with...

Oh man, Joop, this is an amazing photo! The light is wonderful and you look great against the snow. Henk sure did a nice job on this one! As for politics, my mom worked for the senate for a number of years in the States and it is certainly an odd way to live! Just say no! They can take a good dog and make him bad! We love you too much for that!

Yup, Joop, I hear you. And considering what our country cranks out as viable candidates, I think you might want to reconsider the running mate bit too. I know I wouldn`t want to stand beside any of those dirty crooks! Ewwwww, some might actually rub off on you, Ewwwwwwww! No. Stick to running after squirrels, or running alongside bicycles. Let`s dump the running for office notion, eh?
Now, this image, Joop, is just beautiful! The light really IS wonderful! Tell me, do you like the snow? I know some dogs don`t, at all. I`ve had them living with me who wouldn`t even go outside (yes, it`s true, and it`s good it melted really fast), and those who loved to chase snowballs, finding retrieving such to be as big a joke as I thought it was. I would think it would feel mighty funny on yr feet, but what do I know? I`m just a human with neither protective fur nor that neat tough dog skin on yr pads like you dog types do. Hope you like it, pal o`mine, cuz it looks like yr stuck with it for awhile!
ps: 2004? So far, so good.

Well, SNOW!!!!! Aren`t you looking good in that white stuff. And look at that beautiful sunlight coming through the trees. That is a very wonderful park you have there, Joop.
I`m glad the fireworks are over...and I surmise that your stomach has settled down. They are a terror...look what happened to poor Midnight because of them!! Enjoy your snow...it is 50° here and supposed to rain for two days. Aghhh!!! So muddy!!! In terms of being President...who`d want it!!!!! I would not say that the pick of the litter get elected (or chosen by our Supreme Court in one notorious case) as President...and you, dear Joop, are definetly the pick of the litter.
