Laura Hemlepp (my daughter), a junior on the University of Akron tennis team, moves in to hit a backhand volley
during her final match in the Mastodon Invitational, a six-team college invitational hosted
by Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne in Fort Wayne, Ind. Early matches were played in temperatures
below 40° F (about 4° C) with strong, gusty winds. The temperature warmed up to 50° F (10° C) by the early afternoon,
but high winds continued to hinder play. Another image of Laura is included below.
