An immature Brown-headed Cowbird perches in a plant in Sharon Woods Metro Park near Columbus, Ohio.
Cowbirds lay eggs in nests of other birds and leave the responsibility for raising the baby to the other bird.
This Cowbird was being cared for by a pair of Common Yellowthroats that were about one-third the size of the baby.
