Custom-designed bronze hinges on doors in the Texas Capitol are inscribed with
the name of the building and are decorated with geometric and stylized floral
designs. The hinges were made in the late 1880s, are eight inches by eight inches
and weigh more than seven pounds each. More images of the Texas Capitol are below.
