Washington Classic (3rd place, Set It Off Challenge)

Taken at the Tidal Basin, with the Jefferson Memorial in the background. I had gone there yesterday, when the weather was ugly, and came up with this http://www.pbase.com/image/76561048 and I went back today, when it was spectacular but couldn't seem to reproduce it. I took so many shots today, I can't bear to look at them anymore so this is going to have to be the one :-).

This is a lovely photo Helen. I was there on 3rd April, my first ever visit to DC, the sky was blue, the weather was warm, the blossoms perfect, I was SO fortunate..... It is a beautiful city and you have captured it so wonderfully in this gallery.
