Mecidiye Mosque in Ortaköy, built by Sultan Abdül Mecit I in 1855. I am fascinated by Islamic architecture, and there is an abundance of it in Istanbul, but this has always been one of my favorite such buildings anywhere. Taken while on a cruise of the Bosporus, with the Bosporus Bridge in the background.
