Full of vegetation but no birds

There have been relatively few birds in the lake at Constitution Gardens on our recent visits there. On this particular day, there were some Canada geese and not much else. Perhaps the vegetation that is now covering large sections of the water is why.

Excellent point of view with the Washington Monument perfect in the frame.
Nice reflection resolution tack sharp clouds are perfect in the scene as well.
