DC trash removal trucks are pretty ugly, but this belongs to a private company. It must be a thing to have nicer looking private trucks because we saw another pretty spectacularly decorated one the other day but couldn’t get a picture of it.
A belated note about this picture. It turns out that kmG Hauling is a very progressive company, with a huge fleet of similarly decorated trucks in a variety of colors bearing inspiring messages. To get an idea of this impressive business, take a look at their website at http://www.kmghauling.com/kmg-cares/
“We show our appreciation by turning our trucks into mobile billboards with messages to support the troops, as well as creating awareness for different types of health conditions. We hope to motivate thousands of people in the DMV to take action!
“In creating our first awareness campaign, we painted our trucks bright pink to bring awareness to breast cancer. We were not sure how people would react to seeing a bright pink truck driving down the street, but we were met with an overwhelming amount of positive support.”
