Scary and dangerous

Tim took this picture Tuesday morning of a fallen branch in Lincoln Park, from the same tree that lost a huge branch a while back and destroyed a lamppost, the top of which can be seen beyond the branches. Luckily nobody was hurt, but somebody could have been killed if they had been in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The last lotus pond, posted earlier:

Yikes!

After the first incident, the tree should have been checked and taken down so this wouldn't have happened.

There seems to be a lot of tree issues near you lately.

So scary! They should take it down. Queenie seems to like to explore it. V

This is a tree that needs attention from an arborist before someone is hurt.

It's so sad to see old and magnificent trees fall down ... but also so nice to see Queenie
