Watergate complex and the Kennedy Center

Watergate (L) is infamous for being the scene of the 1972 burglary of Democratic National Committee headquarters, ordered by the administration of President Richard Nixon and resulting in his resignation in 1974. The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts is on its way to becoming infamous since Trump named himself chairman of the board, resulting in the cancellation of many upcoming performances in protest of the new management.

Seen from the Georgetown waterfront.

I’m glad they canceled. Maybe he can get Scott Baio to come. A fine capture of this iconic place being ruined by the dictator. V
