‘Coming up roses’

The rose bush in our backyard, which was there when we bought the house in 1988, had a record bloom this year. I don’t know what to attribute it to, but I was happy to see it because it usually doesn’t produce that many flowers.

Lovely flower shot, as always. From cherry blossoms to roses, they bloom much earlier in D.C. than in NY, I bet you have a much longer period of time every year to enjoy different flowers too. ~V~
