Union Station celebrates ‘GR8’ Alexander Ovechkin

Alexander Ovechkin, a professional ice hockey left winger and captain of the Washington Capitals, recently beat Wayne Gretzky’s record for the most career goals in National Hockey League history. He is nicknamed “The Great 8” in reference to his jersey number.

The middle poster says, “NHL all-time goals leader.”

Gretzky supports Trump and Ovechkin supports Putin. Not a fan of either of these guys. (Used to love Gretzky, but those days are over.)

Ah yes, the original Great One has been beaten. He's not so well liked here in Canada right now as several weeks ago he seemed to side with the US when he should have been supporting the Canadian hockey team.
