We went back to Constitution Gardens on Sunday because I wanted to make sure that the green heron chick (previous picture) wasn’t still alone on an island in the lake. It was nowhere to be seen, so hopefully its parents retrieved it, but this great blue heron was there – probably one of the two we saw last weekend -- along with a couple of other surprise visitors.
