One more shot of the older herons in the middle of the lake (admittedly taken at a long distance), and I’ll also post at least one other picture of the poor little chick after this. Finding two great blue herons and a lonely chick at Constitution Gardens, where we hardly ever see them anymore, was just too amazing an event for only a few photographs!
