We finally made it down to Constitution Gardens on the National Mall – we had seen a great blue heron from the car last week and wanted to see if he was still there. It turned out that not only was he there, but so was another one – a bit smaller and lighter in color. Could that be Mrs. GBH? When you see the next picture I’ll post, you might believe that was true!
