I never photograph birds with my iPhone, but I didn’t have my camera with me at the Japanese American Memorial, and the pool was obviously the favorite bathing spot in the neighborhood, so I thought I’d give it a try. I can’t even guess at how many birds splashed around while I was waiting for Tim and Queenie, but it was a lot.
