Night view of ‘new’ Old Diriyah

Diriyah, Saudi Arabia

When we lived in Riyadh and visited Old Diriyah frequently, some new construction was under way, but nothing on this scale. It used to be a charming town, with a lot of old buildings and traditional doors, but looks like that has changed radically.

I think I would have preferred visiting this city before they modernized it. I like historic places. Your older gallery was full of so many captivating images that made the area unique.
