Australian flags were hung along Constitution Avenue, in front of the White House, and down Pennsylvania Avenue almost to the US Capitol in honor of the state visit of Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. I kept trying to get a better shot of the flags – US, Australian and District of Columbia – when we were driving home, but there was no breeze to speak of, and most of the flags were wound around the flagpoles (so this was the best I could get).
