This is the door to our dry cleaners, where Tim took Queenie for the first time on Saturday. They gave her a Milk Bone, and when she insisted on going back a little while later, gave her four more. Then on Sunday, when the cleaners is closed, she dragged Tim to the front door four times during the day in the hope of getting more cookies. On Monday, she then insisted on going over there instead of to the park as I intended. She got two cookies, and we went home for good.
I wasn’t kidding when I said earlier that she’s the most food motivated dog I’ve ever seen. It turns out that she weighs 67, not 63 pounds (!), and the vet has put her on a strict diet of 635 calories a day. Ten percent of her allowable calories can be in treats, but Queenie tries to exceed that every day.
