We got one clematis blossom this year!

I had explained a while back how our gardener’s “assistant” had accidently (or maybe ignorantly) ripped all the vines of our very old clematis off our wrought-iron fence. He didn’t kill the plant, though, and down at ground level one sole flower has bloomed.

How great to see your clematis coming back to life. Next year you'll have a lot more flowers.
