Waiting attentively

This cute dog was standing at attention in the garden as I walked by, but when I stopped to say hello, she ran over to the fence to kiss me and get petted. As soon as I started to leave, she was standing at attention again, waiting for somebody or something to arrive. It’s a bit chancy to leave a dog unattended in DC because there have been many cases of dognapping in the last year. I hope her humans came home soon.

She is a beauty! Beautiful photo of her. Dogs are often stolen to be used as bait dogs for pit bull fighting rings. It is sad. V
