Return of the cardinal

Tim saw this cardinal from his office at the back of the house and rushed to get his camera down the hall in my office (I was impressed that he did that!) and managed to catch a shot of this cardinal across the alley. I was pleased to see him because there haven’t been any cardinals around here for the past year.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly unsharp.

Tim is good!!! My husband often tells me about his wildlife spottings, but he wouldn't dream of using a camera.

Well done Tim! I have done that many times when I see a bird in the backyard, more often than not by the time I get my camera I had missed the chance. He looks content with that nut in his mouth. v

They are always a thrill to see. A nice sharp capture Tim and well worth the run to photograph him. V

They are always such a joyful sight and I'm glad one has returned and that Tim caught such a good shot. I wonder why they have been absent? V
