Torre Bissara, Vicenza

The Carabinieri in Vicenza arranged for a tour of the town for Tim and his colleagues, during which he got this shot of the Torre Bissara (and the tour guides) in the Piazza dei Signori, next to the Basilica Palladiana. The tower was originally built in 1174 but sustained catastrophic damage in an Anglo-American bombing raid in 1945 and was rebuilt after the war.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly unsharp.
