Enjoying the lantana

Silver spotted skipper (I think) found at the Franciscan Monastery in Northeast DC.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly unsharp.

The curled up "proboscis" is used to drink nectar from the plants and I've always wondered how to pronounce. I did some sleuthing on the web today and found there are at least three ways to pronounce it. Haven't decided which one is the best. Nice shot. V.
