This garden on East Capitol Street SE used to have beautiful flowers in it at this time of year, along with plentiful butterflies, skippers and bees. When I went past it the other day, there was exactly one flower in bloom, no insects in sight and nothing else on the way. Hopefully it will be more productive in the months to come, though last year was a disappointment there, too.
