Sparrow on a hot day

This poor guy looked like he was trying to cool off in the mulch. This was taken in June, which seems mild by comparison to July, when we’re having “feels like” temperatures of 103 degrees. I don’t mind the heat so much after spending three years in Riyadh, but the humidity is a killer.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly unsharp.

With our 100% actual temperatures and brutal humidity these past few days, I'm not even seeing birds here right now. I remember Washington's humidity. It's like here. MISERABLE!!!
