Feather display

Another picture of the Carolina wren, not posing too nicely for the camera but at least showing off his pretty feathers.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly unsharp.

I had some kind of wren make a nest in my hanging geranium by the front porch. When I was watering it yesterday about four or five babies came flying out and startled me. I had no idea there was a nest in there. I'm hoping the babies are old enough to be out of the nest and will all do okay. There is lots of ground cover where they scattered to and we don't have any cats near by.
This little you captured is pretty cute.
