Volunteer irises have been on one side of our flower bed for as long as I can remember, but this year they outdid themselves and bloomed all around the rosebush.
That makes up a bit for the total bud failure of our older peony, which garden experts say is normal for a peony that has undergone a transplant, despite the fact that it bloomed last year. They said it should return to normal next year.
Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly
unsharp.
