Bee busy with the azaleas

The bees out in front left me alone when I was trying to get some pictures of them, unlike the carpenter bees in back, who are just downright obnoxious.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly
unsharp.

Nice close-up. This is a Carpenter Bee, though. You can tell them apart from bumblebees by their hairless abdomen.

Bumble bees are the best kind…all others, not so much. The bee seems to blend in with the petals. The eyes are fascinating. V
