Grackle at the doggy bowl

These birds seem sort of obnoxious to me, but they certainly are beautiful with those iridescent colors. This one was in my next door neighbor’s garden, along with the skeletons, Christmas decorations and St. Patrick’s Day lights as well as all the other, uh, stuff he keeps in there.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly
unsharp.

Great blue color on the head seems to me to have a little metallic sheen beautiful bird and certainly very nicely portrayed BV

it looks rather chic, and perhaps a little aggressive....still, a srong character need not be seen as obnoxious, just an assertive type that still has a role to play..

They do have pretty iridescent colours but they're a nuisance at the feeders and keep other birds away.
