Too close for comfort?

One more picture of a plane taking off from Reagan National, shot at Gravelly Point, which sits directly under the flight path of departing aircraft. As I said before, those planes weren’t too far above us, which is of course why we went there in the first place!

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly
unsharp.

Yes! My wife lived with her mom in an apartment right below the flight path of the Buffalo airport. Imagine having to get up and turn up the TV (No remotes or DVRs to rewind in those days) every time a plane came in so you didn't miss the dialog!
