Peaceful coexistence

Taken through the screen door in our kitchen. When I tried to open the glass door very quietly, the dove flew off, unlike the one from last month who planted itself near the top of the stairs and didn’t budge even when I opened the screen door to take a picture. Sahraa was asleep so didn’t object to my iPhone camera, for once.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly
unsharp.

A very nice scene. We all need more peaceful coexistence.

This is great! I have to smile at Sahraa's unperturbed state and the rather nonchalant presence of the dove.

Our doves are very skittish here.

Neat that the dove looks very much at home - along with Sahraa :) V

they learn the limitation, often see a grouse just fly up in a branch when
a dog pass to close, great picture!

Always good to see different species co-existing - though the dove probably knows there's nothing to fear with the ability to fly at a moment's notice.

Maybe that dove and Sahraa are just getting used to each other. Nice shot!
